Learn about the history and culture of San Antonio! Purchase your Narrated Cruise tickets online today and use them for any public tour that leaves our docks every 15 to 20 minutes. Our Narrated Cruises run daily, 10 am – 10 pm (weather permitting). This is the VERY FIRST thing Johnny Tillett, my husband and Co-applicant/owner (www.TillettvilleBeauty.com) (www.youravon.com/tnalltillett) will be doing. Well I say that but I kind of want to do it at night. We may go twice LOL.
Narrated Cruises operate as normal during busy seasons but on occasion, visitors can select the date and time for your cruise where capacity is limited. These timed cruises are on the reserved cruise tab page when available.
Tower of the Americas
The Tower of the Americas is a 750-foot observation tower-restaurant located in the Hemisfair district on the southeastern portion of Downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. I am very excited for this experience. I totally can’t stand heights BUT I WANT to do this. I will definitely be stepping out of my comfort zone.
The tower was designed by San Antonio architect O’Neil Ford and was built as the theme structure of the 1968 World’s Fair, HemisFair ’68.
San Antonio Market Square
Yes. please give me a taste of Mexico!! Drop into San Antonio’s Market Square where you and the family can stroll through the square’s three block outdoor plaza which is lined with colorful shops and lively restaurants.
In fact, Market Square is the biggest Mexican market in North America and where you can have great fun sourcing everything in Mexican artistry from specialty shops selling leather belts and hand embroidered dresses, to crafts, souvenirs and delicious snacks.
The atmosphere is always lively and there are often wonderful Hispanic festivals happening where you can partake in some authentic local food while listening to the sounds of mariachi music.
Main Plaza Cathedral Light Show
On Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with show times 9, 9:30 and 10 pm, the San Fernando Cathedral projects a stunning 24 minute light show created by French artist Xavier De Richemont. A glass of wine or a cold beer in hand to watch this incredible light show is a must on our to do list!
As light projects onto the cathedral, it tells the story of San Antonio and the surrounding area from its beginning.
This stunning light show really is a one of a kind experience. Seats are limited so try and get there early.
Lollypop Carriage Co.
Riding in something called the “Lollypop Carriage” might sound like you’ve stepped into a fairytale book. I’m so ready to step into that fairytale. Every woman want’s to be a queen.
When you have the experience, you’ll feel like you’re in a fairytale.

The Giant Justins
You might have seen a picture of a giant boots sculpture outside of a mall. Let me tell you MY reason to see these JUSTIN’s. One of my twin son is name Justin so I have to have picture of me with these Justin boots to send to him. 🙂 Now my dilemma is do I snap that pic at night when they are lit up or during the day? Hmmmm….decisions, decisions. Maybe both?
This is located in San Antonio. For a fun time, be sure to snap a picture with these bots, known as the “Giant Justins.”
This particular shopping complex is North Star Mall.
